hris Bodnar joined Crawford Smith & Swallow in 1995 and has been a key part of the firm’s tax practice ever since. After graduating from Brock University in 1998, he earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 1999 and became a Partner in 2004.
Specializing in personal and corporate tax planning, estate planning, and corporate reorganizations, Chris brings deep technical knowledge and a client-focused approach to every engagement. He has completed several advanced programs through the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, including the In-Depth Tax Course, Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business, and Corporate Reorganizations.

Outside the office, Chris keeps busy with his family and can often be found chauffeuring his children to their many activities. When time allows, he enjoys bowling, movies, reading, and long walks.
