In 1960, there was a name change, and thus Crawford Smith & Swallow, Chartered Accountants was born.

As they continued to flourish in the industry, the decision to expand became inevitable. They acquired the neighboring property, seamlessly integrating it into their growing establishment, and proudly installed a new sign to mark their presence.
In the mid-1960s, Crawford Smith & Swallow embarked on a transformative merger with Delmar Taylor CA, aiming to better serve the residents and corporations of the southern Niagara Region. Their central office, then and now, resides at 76 Jarvis Street in Downtown Fort Erie, ON.
Between 1969 and the mid-1970s, a significant development unfolded for Crawford Smith & Swallow. They merged with William McGarvey CA to establish a new office in the heart of Downtown Saint Catharines. This new venture found its home at 157 King Street, a location with historical significance. The office was situated within the McSloy House, a charming Queen Anne-style building dating back to the late 1880s. Unfortunately, in about 1976, this historical gem met its demise and was demolished.
In the vibrant summer of 1972, Crawford Smith & Swallow embarked on an ambitious project, unveiling their second-level expansion, accompanied by a striking modernized facade transformation.
In 1975, Crawford Smith & Swallow's Saint Catharines Office had outgrown the McSloy House. Soon after the move, the McSloy House was unfortunately demolished, and our new office found its home at 60 James Street, situated in the heart of Downtown Saint Catharines. During this time Saint Catharines was seeing a boom in urban development.
